Born in Peru (South America), came to England when he was four and started violin lessons at the age of six. At the beggining of secondary school he started lessons on alto sax and developed an interest in jazz and fusion/world music.

Since then he has been developing an improvisational style and has been open minded and diverse in approach.

He has played in various youth orcestras and Big Bands as training, and has been involved in a gigging jazz band on sax as well as having a jazz/fusion duo with guitar and violin.

He is currently working with bassist/fusion artist Franc O'Shea in the Franc O'Shea Quartet/Anam Cara and is a member of Candela directed by flamenco artist Paul Aguilera. He has also worked as a session musician with modern/pop/fusion artists including one track with the Brazilian musician Pedro Martins leader of the band Bazeado.
